Certificate Course in Salutology 2 – Deepening & Application

Title: “Living Health – Recognizing, Supporting, and Strengthening Processes of Order”

The Certificate Course in Salutology 2 is designed for graduates of the foundational program who wish to deepen their salutological competencies and apply them in practice. The focus lies on the integration, application, and professionalization of salutogenic processes of order on individual, systemic, and societal levels.

Module 1 introduces advanced salutodynamic thinking: the model of order and the framework of Salutology provide the theoretical foundation for understanding inner processes of order.
Module 2 focuses on salutometric practice – the visualization, measurement, and evaluation of health development.

In Module 3, the Salutising Model is applied to real cases. Participants learn to conduct salutological counseling in a professional and reflective way.
Module 4 explores how to design health-promoting environments – from nutrition and sleep to spatial design and social resonance.

Module 5 teaches strategies for implementing the digital tool “Health Account” in everyday counseling practice. The goal is to build an effective portfolio of salutological interventions.
In Module 6, participants develop their salutological identity, position themselves within the health sector, and reflect on their professional ethics.

Awarded with 30 ECTS credits and a strong practical focus, this program qualifies Salutologists to apply salutogenic concepts in counseling, health promotion, and prevention – combining scientific depth with societal relevance.

In the Certificate Course in Salutology 2, participants deepen their understanding of salutodynamic processes and systemic models of order as the foundation of human self-regulation. Through concrete case studies, they train the practical application of the Salutising Model and develop effective counseling strategies. The Health Account is applied in practice to plan, implement, and evaluate targeted salutogenic interventions. Advanced measurement and analysis methods allow for a precise assessment of individual health patterns.

Participants also design concepts for a salutogenic lifestyle, taking into account environmental factors, sleep, nutrition, and physical activity. They reflect on the ethical and legal aspects of salutological counseling and strengthen their professional identity as Salutologists. In doing so, they learn how to position themselves confidently within the health sector and establish interdisciplinary collaborations.
Basic knowledge of salutological research and evidence-based evaluation completes this practice-oriented and forward-looking program.
